Description
G oat polyclonal antibody to HA epitope. The YPYDVPDYA epitope is used as a tag on many recombinant proteins to facilitate isolation, purification and detection of recombinant proteins. The HA tag is derived from the human influenza hemagglutinin (HA) molecule corresponding to amino acids 98-106 has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.
Alternative names
Human influenza hemagglutinin tag, YPYDVPDYA tag antibody.
Immunogen
Purified recombinant HA epitope peptide derived from the human Influenza Hemagglutinin protein and produced in E. coli.
Storage
For continuous use, store at 2-8 C for one-two days. For extended storage, store in -20 C freezer. Working dilution samples should be discarded if not used within 12 hours.
Form
Polyclonal antibody supplied as a 200 µl (4 mg/ml) aliquot in PBS, 20% glycerol and 0.05% sodium azide. This antibody is epitope-affinity purified from goat antiserum.
Concentration
4 mg/ml
Specificity
The antibody recognizes the HA-tag fused to the amino- or carboxy- termini of targeted proteins in transfected cells.
Special instructions
The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
